Twice a year Make-A-Wish welcomes new members to our board. These men and women are pillars of the community with a heart for making dreams come true. We’d like to take the time to introduce you to the newest members of our tireless team: Jon Gray and Keith Hansen.
Born and raised in Nevada, Jon Gray received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from UNLV and since gone on to be many great things, including Nike’s senior director of global member programs. Today, Jon is the general manager of Las Vegas’ iconic Palms Casino Resort.
As the father of two kids, Jon realizes the impact a life-threatening diagnosis could have on the entire family. He is excited to contribute his passion, energy, and experience to making wishes come true.
Jon’s one true wish? To be Maverick in Top Gun.
Keith Hansen is the vice president of airport and government affairs at Allegiant. He received his BA in English from Brigham Young University and his J.D. from the William S. Boyd School of Law. Keith is a firm believer in our mission and has personally experienced the impact of a wish. His belief that people should “make no small plans” aligns with our vision of making each wish as big as it can be for every deserving child.
Keith’s one true wish? To sing with Bono or attend a Super Bowl where the Miami Dolphins walk away the champions.
We are so grateful for members like Jon and Keith; they are going to do great things for our kids. Keep an eye out for more stories about our board members!
If you’d like to use your own time and talents to further the Make-A-Wish mission, we’d love to have you volunteer with us!
