Note: Some volunteer positions require a background check in addition to ongoing training.

Currently, we are in most need of Wish Granters, Special Events Volunteers and Office Volunteers!

Wish Granter

Wish Granters work in teams to coordinate details of a child’s wish. From conception to completion, the Wish Granter is responsible for maintaining contact with wish family and Wish Child at least once per month to offer updates and keep the wish excitement alive. Wish Granters meet with the wish child to determine the child’s one true wish, communicate the wish to the office, and submit completed paperwork to staff within a week of the wish determined date. Wish Granters work with a Wish Coordinator to plan, create, deliver a reveal, and most importantly, fulfill the child’s one true wish.
*Requirements: Complete background check, attend Volunteer Fair, schedule interview, and attend Wish Granter Training

Special Projects Volunteers participate in occasional activities fitting specific needs. Project examples include, but are not limited to, running errands, graphic design, photography, sewing, poster creation, letter writing for Wish Kids and scrapbook design. If you’ve mastered the art of assembling shelves, capturing the perfect moment on your camera, or have a knack for organizing, our staff would love if you’d lend your talents! The Special Projects role is an umbrella for many unique ways to get involved.
