Although shy at first, 12-year-old Angela, battling neoplasms, knew exactly what she wanted for her one true wish.
She longed for a place free from hospitals, doctors and medicines, where she could meet princes and princesses and tour foreign countries. Angela wished to go to Disney World.
The day finally came when Angela and her family were picked up by a beautiful limousine and whisked off to the airport for a trip of a lifetime.
Once they arrived at Give Kids the World, Angela was so excited to play miniature golf, have pizza delivered to her cottage and take a trip to the ice cream parlor!
At Disney World, Angela was amazed that she did not have to wait on any lines for the rides. She and her family played all day, and when evening came they had front row seats to the firework display above Cinderella’s castle.
Angela was given a chance to meet all of the princesses, as well as Mickey and Minnie. She loved touring Animal Kingdom and was in awe of the exotic animals. A tour through Epcot proved to be both fun and informational. It was as if the family had taken a trip all around the world!
This whole trip was amazing and more than they could ever imagine. Angela’s parents expressed their many thanks for this wonderful opportunity, given not only to Angela, but also their entire family.
