I serve on the Board of Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada Because… I am a believer in the mission of Make-A-Wish. I have seen first-hand how Make-A-Wish positively impacts children and their families. I also believe that we as individuals should "make no small plans" and I see Make-A-Wish utilizing that philosophy as it grants wishes for children. I love the thought of joining an organization that views the world in much the say way I do.
My wish would be... When my kids ask me what I would like for my birthday I invariably give them the same answer. Four children who love each other and who are kind to everyone. I haven't received that gift yet, and sometimes wonder if it is within the realm of possibility. So assuming I can't change hearts and wish for world peace, I would probably wish for the opportunity to sing with Bono or attend a Super Bowl where the Miami Dolphins emerge victorious.
