Wish Assists are wish children who live elsewhere, but whose wishes come true in Southern Nevada. For the fifth consecutive year, we increased wishes granted, this year by 10% over FY18.
We rely on donated goods and services (“In-Kind”) to grant quality wishes affordably. Despite double-digit growth in wishes granted, we maintained our lower-than-national average cash cost with thanks to our incredible in-kind donors.
FY19 saw a 17% growth in revenue over last fiscal year, our fifth consecutive year of double-digit growth.
Note that FY17 revenue includes $697,063.27 in Allegiant office in-kind (5-year lease recorded in 1 year per GAAP rules). FY18 expenses include $140,845 and FY19 expenses include $144,163 for in-kind rent "expense" associated with this donated office space (no revenue to offset).
Though we prefer to celebrate our success with the above measures, we spend 73% of all funds raised on our programs.
