Title: Wish Manager
Before joining Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada: I worked in education for the last 5 years. First in Los Angeles working for USC as a teacher, then at UC San Diego where I served an undergraduate population of over 4,400 students through the Thurgood Marshall College Provost Office. I also wrote and edited K-8 science and social studies textbooks.
Education: I have a Bachelor of Arts in Literature-Writing from UC San Diego and a Master of Fine Arts in Dramatic Writing from USC (Fight on!)
About me: I have a deep and abiding love for theater as an agent for community building and social change. When I write a script, I look at it as an opportunity to learn and grow through the telling of stories. When I have free time, I serve as my dogs' favorite pillow.
My favorite thing about working at MAWSNV: I love how the Make-A-Wish mission brings people together in celebration of our Wish Kids. You can go almost anywhere in the country or the world, and the work that Make-A-Wish does brings smiles to people's faces and creates lasting memories.
My wish would be: To live in an English cottage, working on a children's novel during the day and stargazing at night.
